Sir Richard wows the Ladies at the Charles Cotton

This week Sir Richard spoke at an exclusive Ladies Luncheon Club at the splendid Charles Cotton Hotel in the centre of Hartington. Speaking about the Estate, Its Past Present & Future to the assembled 50 ladies, the talk lasted 40 minutes amidst three superb courses of local produce washed down by sumptuous wines .Sir Richard is seen here addressing his audience.

TEAROOMS GRAND RE-OPENING March 3rd 2012

Presently our award-winning Tearooms is undergoing renovation with the addition of extra kitchen space and additional loos and will re-open on Saturday 3 March with a Grand Re-Opening.During that week tea and coffee will be gratis with any purchased meal. History Heritage and Humour Walk in Tissington as part of the Peak District Walking & Outdoor Festival 2012

Sir Richard will lead a popular walk, discovering the history, heritage and humour of Tissington, an experience that is truly unique. He will explain the origins and history of the estate and village and how he has brought the estate into the 21st Century with a policy of ""mature diversification"" whilst retaining the vernacular beauty of the village for which Sir Richard was awarded the Bledisloe Gold Medal by the Royal Agricultural Society in 2006.
The walk will meet outside the main gates of the Hall at 6pm and will be followed by a sumptuous locally sourced supper in the award winning Old Coach House Tearooms.

Nurses & Hoopers Cottage Available in January 2012

The two holiday lets on the Estate in Tissington are available for last minute breaks in January and February 2012. Both cottages have one bedroom housing two people in each cottage and have all modern facilities including wifi. Please contact the Estate Office for details.
